The Sony Cyber-shot L1 is a true "take anywhere" digital camera, compact enough for a pocket or handbag, yet offering top quality image resolution, Carl Zeiss 3x zoom lens, versatile high-speed operation and a very stylish finish. Upgrading your camera, or looking for your first digital camera? Sony may just have the answer in the new Cyber-shot L series digital camera, sure to appeal to the more stylish end of the photo market. The Cyber-shot L1 is no pussy cat however; it packs a powerful punch in the shape of a 4.1 effective Megapixel Super HAD CCD and Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar 3x optical zoom lens, giving superior image quality. Highly compact and durable, the Cyber-shot L1 can serve as a simple point-and-shoot model for capturing that great night out on the town, but it can just as easily be used for shooting more adventurous snaps on the ski-slopes.

Sony Cybershot L1 - Design
The CyberShot DSC L1 has all the speed, versatility and imaging power to get the best pictures whatever the occasion. It has been designed to fit in a pocket or handbag with its slim yet robust aluminium metal body. For added protection and a more compact figure, the innovative Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar 3x optical zoom lens has been specially designed to sit neatly within the camera body and extend only when in the shooting mode.

Sony DSC L1 - Latest technology
The new Sony Cyber-shot L1 digital camera benefits from the latest technology in the form of Sony's powerful Real Imaging Processor for superior image quality, increased stamina and rapid camera operation. There's also the ability to connect to a PC via USB2.0 or to connect directly to a printer using the PictBridge interface. When shooting there's no need to concern yourself with calculating the best exposure- seven different Scene Selection modes are preset for scenarios like portraits by candle light, occasions such as a trip to the beach or for a romantic scene under a twilight sky. The special technology designed for the 1.5-inch Hybrid LCD screen means that you can display and frame your pictures in any situation, even in high contrast light conditions. Finally, the auto focus features offered by the Cyber-shot L1 mean that getting a pin-sharp picture is a forgone conclusion, so all you really need do is point and shoot.
