Tamron releases another advance in the company's pursuit of high-resolution images in the telephoto lens category. The new Tamron 70-300mm F/4-5.6 telephoto zoom lens features image stabilization and an ultrasonic auto-focus drive. The SP 70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di VC USD (model A005) high-resolution DSLR lens is engineered for a Nikon mount, with compatibility for Canon and Sony mounts to follow. While designed for digital SLR cameras, the Tamron SP 70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di VC USD (Model A005) can be used with both full-frame sensor and AF 35 mm cameras having a zoom range of 70-300 mm, and as well with APS-C sensor cameras where the angle of view changes the zoom to 109-465 mm.
