Photokina report
Panasonic DMC-FX77 gallery - Shortly after the CES 2011 Show, Panasonic introduced 4 high-end compact cameras, including the stylish Panasonic DMC-FX77, also known as the Panasonic DMC-FX78. The Panasonic DMC-FX77 digital camera is added to Panasonic’s line of ultra-compact cameras and is especially eye-catching due to the large 3.5" touchscreen. The back of the Panasonic DMC-FX77 camera is completely filled by the Smart Touch LCD screen, making buttons a thing of the past. Important functions can be placed on the LCD display, and focusing is done by simply selecting a main focal point on the screen, making photography a cinch.

Next to the large touchscreen, the 12.1 megapixel Panasonic DMC-FX77 camera is equipped with a 24mm ultra wide-angle camera lens with a 5x optical zoom. The lens’ wide angle is not only suitable for shooting dynamic landscapes, but also moving subjects. Thanks to the outstanding clarity of f/2.5, beautiful pictures can even be made indoors or at night, with low light. The Panasonic DMC-FX77 camera is equipped with a Hi-speed CCD image sensor, which, together with the powerful Venus Engine FHD processor, ensures that you can always take a picture at lightning speed.

However, a digital camera is not only about photography anymore. The Panasonic DMC-FX77 digital camera also makes sharp video recordings. The Panasonic DMC-FX77 records in Full HD 1920x1080 in AVCHD format. And if you can’t be bothered with all kinds of settings, the iA mode offers solace. Another special addition to the Panasonic DMC-FX77 is the 3D photo mode, which makes 3D digital photography possible. The Panasonic DMC-FX77 digital camera is now available in Europe for a retail price of 290,00 Euro.
