Pentax - Booth at Photokina 2004
|
|
The Pentax booth attracted a nice number of visitors. One in a while a show started at which the new Optio cameras were demonstrated by three women who each showed a Pentax digital camera. The new Pentax models, among them the entry-level DSLR *istDS and the new Optio SV, were displayed in a half circle. Due to the narrow space where the visitor had to manoeuvre in order to get his or her hand on one of the Pentax digital cameras it was sometimes difficult to get even a bit close to them. However, Pentax has an interesting line-up of new cameras and models like the mysterious X to models like the *istDS showed the all-round presence of Pentax on the digital market. Pentax has got an interesting new series of digital cameras, but we are missing some real colourful models in red, blue, yellow, etc. But Pentax is not the only one who is more conservative as to the colours of the casing, so it maybe just a fashion move instead of a new direction.
