The many rumors, despite Canon Europe’s very strict embargo rules, are only increasing in size, and make the moment of introduction less and less attractive. This time, the Canon 60D rumors seemed to be coming from the United States and Asia. The Canon 60D, moreover, is worth the trouble to have a look at. I had the opportunity to get to know the Canon 60D DSLR camera at a presentation made by Canon Netherlands. My first impression as a photographer was that you get ‘a whole lot of camera’ in your hands. The EOS 50D is history, and the Canon 60D is taking over.

This article is based on some of the so-called 'leaks' on the internet and is therefore not confirmed. However, it seems pretty interesting to us, so here we go. Various Canon announcement dates are floating around. August 19 was the day of entry-level basic compact cameras , but we are all waiting (August 26?) for those advanced compact and EOS cameras. One of them would be the Canon PowerShot G12, a full feature packed advanced digital camera that would follow up the PowerShot G11 camera. The rumor is that the Canon PowerShot G12 is a 10 Megapixel camera with 5x optical wide angle zoom (28-140 mm). It looks like the Canon PowerShot G12 is an evolutionary upgrade to the G11 with updated features.
