Canon PowerShot S95

Canon PowerShot S95 digital camera review : Last year, Canon launched the PowerShot S90, a digital camera that represented a new road in Canon’s strategy. A camera which did not have Megapixels as its most important feature, and was even downgraded on paper in terms of hard specifications, but at the same time was advanced in image quality. It was a camera that was received wholeheartedly and was highly praised. The Canon PowerShot S95, successor to the S90, follows the same road that Canon took with the S90. Luckily, the amount of pixels is still the same, ten Megapixels, and the size of the sensor has also remained unchanged. It is a compact camera that again focuses on image quality, which is a good development.

LetsGoDigital Magazine has received a test sample of the Canon PowerShot S95 digital camera. The first small batch of sample pictures are captured and published in this article. The Canon PowerShot S95 is a compact designed 10 megapixel digital camera with HD video and RAW support. A kind of camera a photographer wants to carry along in a small pocket. The fast f/2.0 lens of the Canon PowerShot S95 camera allows the user to shoot without a tripod or flash in darker conditions. The optical Image Stabilizer corrects camera shake up to 4-stops, while Hybrid IS gives sharper results in macro scenes. HD movies are now made possible in 720p at 24fps. The user can record HD movies with stereo sound and play back via the HDMI terminal.

Photokina 2010 review - That a Canon EOS 60D was coming was no longer a surprise to the attentive reader. The many rumors, despite Canon Europe’s very strict embargo rules, are only increasing in size, and make the moment of introduction less and less attractive. This time, the Canon 60D rumors seemed to be coming from the United States and Asia. The Canon 60D, moreover, is worth the trouble to have a look at. I had the opportunity to get to know the Canon 60D DSLR camera at a presentation made by Canon Netherlands. My first impression as a photographer was that you get ‘a whole lot of camera’ in your hands. The EOS 50D is history, and the Canon 60D is taking over.
Canon IXUS camera review

Canon digital IXUS 300 HS compact digital camera review : The new Canon IXUS camera is made up of quite a few generations. Canon frequently introduces its design cameras that are especially aimed at the trendy amateur photographer. When we look at the technical specifications, we notice that the Canon 300HS camera is equipped with a 1/2.3-inch CMOS sensor. It is a so-called backside-illuminated image sensor that is to ensure a higher image quality at high ISO values and a large dynamic range. The 10 Megapixels are (luckily) conservative and seem to be particularly aimed at a higher pixel quality. The f/2.0 aperture in wide angle is also a welcome feature that makes it possible, together with the optical image stabilizer, to photograph with low light.
