Photokina 2010 report : Casio announces the release of the Casio Exilim Card EX-S200 digital camera, marking the latest addition to the Exilim family of digital cameras. The Casio Exilim S200 sports advanced features in a slim, compact and stylish body, including a Single Frame SR Zoom that extends the zoom range. The new Casio EX-S200 camera makes use of the Exilim Engine 5.0 and super resolution technology to take photos with exceptional clarity and resolution, while the Single Frame SR Zoom maintains image quality through 1.5 times the range of the optical zoom. Other features include the highly-regarded Premium Auto function, which automatically produces beautiful photos with just a press of the shutter button.

Photokina 2010 Show - A sleek sturdy body with a casual feel, the Casio EX-S8 digital compact camera offers 12.1 Megapixels and a 4x zoom in a thin body measuring only 0.78". It also offers YouTube Capture Mode (upload and share videos). The Casio Exilim EX-S8 is fresh and fashionable, making it your perfect everyday camera. Just by pressing the movie button, widescreen movies can be recorded with an aspect ratio of 16:9. This new Casio Exilim camera also offers YouTube Capture Mode, which records and saves movies at the ideal settings for uploading to YouTube. 4c zoom combines with CMOS shift stabilization for beautiful images even at high zoom factors where images are prone to blurring.
Casio Cameras at Photokina
The Casio booth was a bit on the large side for the disappointing amount of visitors that arrived. The current EXILIM compact camera line does not stand out too much, apart from two exceptions. Two cameras are able to attract the attention; the Casio EXILIM Pro F1 and the recently introduced Casio EXILIM FH20. Both cameras offer a unique feature that makes them stand out from the crowd; and that feature is speed. The pair of them are true racing monsters and therefore all options are present to capture fast action moments right there and then at the Casio booth. Visitors of the Casio booth were invited to try and surpass the record distance (making the golf ball travel a distance as long as possible through an electronic golf club.)

Digital camera enthusiasts are all familiar with the Exilim series Casio offers, but we still have to see the first Exilim mobile phone to reach the market outside Asia. Casio Korea is proud to introduce their high resolution mobile camera phone; the Casio Exilim W53CA. Unfortunately, for now, we will not be able to get a sample in our hands because the Casio W53CA is for the Asian (Japan) market only. Casio is one of the pioneers of the digital camera market and is already active for more than a decade. The stunning designed Exilim cameras are famous all over the world and often copied by the competition.
