The Epson L-500V is a compact 5 Megapixel digital camera combined with a 2.5 inch Photo Fine viewer. It is the world's highest definition consumer display on the market with 256 pixels per inch (ppi) which enables accurate viewing and sharing of photos directly from the camera screen. The new L-500V was announced at the Photokina. The Epson L-500V digital camera is combined with an amazing 2.5 inch Photo Fine viewer, a low temperature polysilicon TFT technology display system that offers approximately 590K dots with a resolution of 256ppi. This enables the screen to produce vibrant colours for sharp and crystal-clear picture quality, superior to any product in its class. With the Epson Photo Fine viewer, digital photographs will come to life on the camera screen.
The Epson L-500V movie mode offers users VGA resolution at 30 frames per second producing a fantastic, smooth movie watching experience. In addition the Epson L-500V digital camera has a direct print button that enables users to get their photos from a wide range of compatible Epson photo printers.
