Nokia unveiled the Prism collection, its latest range of mobile phones aimed at style-conscious consumers. The Prism collection consists the Nokia 7900 Prism, a handset which combines individual style and state-of-the-art technology. The Nokia Prism mobile phone collection is highlighted by cutting-edge colors, materials and graphics. Opposite its sleek, liquorice-black front, the Nokia 7900 Prism mobile phone comes with an anodized aluminium backcover, which is coin-stamped and laser-etched in Nokia Prism's signature diamond-cut design. Its design is amongst the first to feature an Organic LED main display that supports up to 16 million colors and displays light-focused screensaver graphics.

The Prism collection consists the Nokia 7500 Prism, a handset which combines individual style and state-of-the-art technology. The Nokia Prism collection is highlighted by cutting-edge colors, materials and graphics. The Nokia 7500 Prism is the Nokia 7900 Prism's quirky sibling. The Nokia 7500 Prism's slick black exterior is spliced with bright, interchangeable color accents. The Nokia 7500 Prism camera phone has a 2 Mpx camera and it can record high quality movies. The Nokia 7500 Prism mobile phone can play music for nine hours and hold up to 1500 songs on an optional 2 GB microSD card.

When we attended the Photokina 2006 event to work on our show report we had a short meeting with Eero Salmelin, Director Camera Unit Nokia. During our Q&A session we talked about the new Nokia N95 camera phone. In the words of Eero Salmelin, the new Nokia N95 Nokia N95 is more like an all-in-one multimedia computer with a great 2-way slide concept, integrated GPS functionality, a 5 Megapixel camera and support for high-speed networks. Nokia had a great position between the digital camera manufacturers and showed the public that they are ready to claim their share of the digital compact camera market. The Nokia N95 has a great design, feels solid and incorporates a long list of imaging and connectivity solutions.

While hopping over from one Hall to the other Hall we ran into a new Nokia; the Nokia N95 camera phone. The Nokia N95 is stylish, but more or less a basic shaped mobile phone with a high resolution camera module inside. Capturing 5 Megapixels while talking to your best friend is just a matter of pushing the right button. Mobile Imaging is catching on… what is next?
