Photokina - Olympus SZ-20 photo gallery - A few months ago, Olympus introduced 3 new digital cameras, including the Olympus SZ-20 compact camera. Thanks to the compact, lightweight camera body and the powerful zoom performance, the Olympus SZ-20 is the ideal camera to take with you everywhere you go. Photokina 2010 report : I had the opportunity to shoot for a very short time some pictures with a full production Olympus E-5 camera at the press day of Photokina 2010. The test photos are made with an Olympus ZUIKO Digital 12-60mm f/2.8-4 lens. The Olympus E-5 camera was introduced just before the Photokina 2010 started and is Olympus' most recent Four Thirds high-end DSLR camera. The new Olympus E-5 camera features a new Live MOS sensor and a newly developed powerful TruePic V+ engine. The Olympus E-5 camera should bring the Four Thirds quality to the next level. The Olympus E-5 is improved with key features and had some added bonus like HD movie recording.

Review Photokina 2010 - At the time of the official introduction of the Olympus E-1, the first Four Thirds DSLR camera, on sunny Mallorca, the first step was made to set up the Four Thirds System. I was present, in 2003, and got to know the first generation Four Thirds DSLR camera. In the years thereafter, a lot of models were added, but there were few high-end Four Thirds DSLR cameras. Four years later came the Olympus E-3, which was an improvement on many fronts, and a nice evolution. Three years later, I ‘finally’ have my hands on the Olympus E-5, the newest Olympus Four Thirds DSLR camera. Do we still have to wait for a new DSLR evolution?
Olympus Mju camera review

Olympus Mju 9010 camera review : Olympus Mju 9010’s compact design does not betray its optical zoom performance. That is precisely this mega zoom camera’s spearhead. It is small and light enough to put in your pocket and it is equipped with a large focal range with which you can achieve large distances. The format of the Olympus Mju 9010 has pretty much remained unchanged in comparison with its predecessor. Also the focal range with 10x optical zoom, equivalent to 28 - 280mm, has remained the same. Although, the competition is showing that they are even taking it a step further, and with 12x optical zoom (25-300 mm) is managing to get even more out of the compact design. Olympus has, on the other hand, held back a bit.
