Photo printers are becoming smaller and smaller by the day. However, the multifunctional printer (MFP) was the big driver in 2007, and the forecast is that this growth will continue in 2008. Due to very competitive pricing, both photo and non-photo printers gain increase in sales numbers. Laser printers will also play an important role in the consumer market. Color laser printers have decreased in price considerably and are therefore very interesting for the home user market. This year’s Photokina imaging show will showcase the latest printer solutions for both the consumer and professional user. Look at the faster printing home photo printers or the large format printers that print out beautiful full color prints of your high resolution digital SLR cameras.
