HP today unveiled a new all-in-one device that provides home office professionals and microbusinesses with affordable and simple-to-set-up-and-use solutions to maximize productivity for all document and photo printing needs. With a contemporary, compact design, the reliable HP Deskjet F380 All-in-One is ideal for small business and home users who want to efficiently print everything from laser-quality black text for everyday documents to vibrant color photos and creative projects. For users who need to print, scan, copy and make photo reprints, the HP Deskjet F380 All-in-One offers all of these functions at an affordable price. The Deskjet F380 printer will be available in June 2006, at a MSRP of US $79.

Epson Stylus Photo RX420 printer

Announced at Photokina, Epson unveils the Epson Stylus Photo RX420 to enhance its comprehensive range of all-in-one photo solutions. This all-in one allows users to scan, copy and print photographs. Users no longer need a high-street photo lab with this all-in-one device that rivals traditional photo lab services and results. The Epson Stylus RX420 can produce 24 borderless photographs at home in under one hour. The Epson Stylus Photo RX420 offers high quality photo printing at very competitive prices. The all-in-one device costs €149, couple this with the low cost of Epson consumables and it becomes a very economical alternative to retail photo printing. The individual ink cartridges allow the user to replace one cartridge at a time. Individual ink cartridges are priced at only €9.99. Also available is the Epson PhotoPack, containing a full set of cartridges and premium glossy photo paper to make 100 photos. It costs only €38.99, resulting in an amazingly low cost per photo of around €0.39. This makes purchasing consumables as easy, cost-effective and convenient as purchasing a roll of film. The Epson Stylus Photo RX420, ideal for every digital camera user, from the novice to the photo enthusiast, produces highly durable photo prints at a resolution of 5760 x 1440dpi. "The Epson Stylus Photo RX420 provides digital converts with an attractively priced all-in-one device that caters for their needs," commented Jason Savage, Senior Products Manager, Photo Products. Fujifilm MP-100 printer

Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd. is proud to announce the Digital Mobile Printer MP-100, a wireless mobile printer for use with camera-phones. Using infrared transmission, MP-100 enables users to get real photos from their camera-phones anytime, anywhere. The MP-100 is expected to be commercially available in this autumn. Worldwide unit sales of camera-phones are expected to reach nearly 150 million in 2004, or just over a quarter of all mobile-phone sales (source: Info Trends Research Group). With the rapid expansion of the camera-phone market and the introduction of high-spec models with image resolution of 1 megapixel or higher, demand has been increasing for printing of pictures taken with camera-phones.

The market for printers faces a lot of competition. For those consumers who love to printer there are several print solutions available.
