Epson Stylus Photo RX420 printer

Announced at Photokina, Epson unveils the Epson Stylus Photo RX420 to enhance its comprehensive range of all-in-one photo solutions. This all-in one allows users to scan, copy and print photographs. Users no longer need a high-street photo lab with this all-in-one device that rivals traditional photo lab services and results. The Epson Stylus RX420 can produce 24 borderless photographs at home in under one hour. The Epson Stylus Photo RX420 offers high quality photo printing at very competitive prices. The all-in-one device costs €149, couple this with the low cost of Epson consumables and it becomes a very economical alternative to retail photo printing. The individual ink cartridges allow the user to replace one cartridge at a time. Individual ink cartridges are priced at only €9.99. Also available is the Epson PhotoPack, containing a full set of cartridges and premium glossy photo paper to make 100 photos. It costs only €38.99, resulting in an amazingly low cost per photo of around €0.39. This makes purchasing consumables as easy, cost-effective and convenient as purchasing a roll of film. The Epson Stylus Photo RX420, ideal for every digital camera user, from the novice to the photo enthusiast, produces highly durable photo prints at a resolution of 5760 x 1440dpi. Fujifilm MP-100 printer

Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd. is proud to announce the Digital Mobile Printer MP-100, a wireless mobile printer for use with camera-phones. Using infrared transmission, MP-100 enables users to get real photos from their camera-phones anytime, anywhere. The MP-100 is expected to be commercially available in this autumn. Worldwide unit sales of camera-phones are expected to reach nearly 150 million in 2004, or just over a quarter of all mobile-phone sales (source: Info Trends Research Group). With the rapid expansion of the camera-phone market and the introduction of high-spec models with image resolution of 1 megapixel or higher, demand has been increasing for printing of pictures taken with camera-phones.
