Rollei introduces a new compact digital camera, the Rollei dt6 Tribute. The new Rollei dt6 Tribute camera features a 6.36 Megapixels 1/2.5 inch CCD image sensor, 2.5 inch TFT color monitor, 4.8x optical zoom lens and 8x digital zoom. The Rollei dt6 compact digital camera will be available August 2006 and has a consumer price of €279, including VAT. The housing of the Rollei dt 6 Tribute is compact and has a stylish mat, black design. The focal length of the optical zoom is f/3.3 - f/4.9 28 - 135mm (equivalent of 35 mm format camera) and can be expanded with 8x digital zoom. The high performance and compact 6.36 Megapixels Rollei dt6 also offers video and voice recording via a built-in speaker and microphone.

Rollei dk4010 zoom

The new 4-megapixel digital camera by Rollei is sure to capture even very remote subjects in full detail: A 10x zoom lens and a 6x digital zoom let you zoom in on your subjects even over long distances. Other outstanding features are unlimited continuous shooting, a movie mode and the availability of filters and wide-angle or teleconverters to increase the flexibility of the Rollei dk4010 even further. The digital camera will be available at dealers from October 2004. The new Rollei digital camera comes in a stylish silver-black body that underlines its professional leanings. But the features are equally attractive: A 10x zoom lens covers focal lengths from 5.7 to 57mm, equivalent to 37-370mm in 35mm photography. With f/2.8-3.1, its speed is remarkably high and optimally suited for the wide zooming range. A high-speed auto focus system guarantees consistently sharp pictures. Another remarkable feature is unlimited continuous shooting: The camera is capable of unlimited bursts of up to 3.3 frames per second with maximum resolution.

Rollei dr5100

Weighing in at only 205 g, the Rollei dr5100 is a pleasure to handle. Its stylish aluminum body and an ergonomically shaped rubber grip on the right-hand side make the new digital camera very handy indeed. But there is more to the Rollei dr5100 than just easy operation and good looks. Both discriminating amateurs and professional users will be impressed by its features: 5.1 Megapixels, 3x D-VarioApogon zoom lens, voice and video recording plus a host of manual controls. The Rollei dr5100 comes with a fast f/2.5-4.3 wide-angle zoom lens covering focal lengths from 28-85mm (converted to 35mm photography). The extremely short focal lengths at the lower end are ideal for sweeping panoramas and group pictures even in confined space. The 5.13 Megapixel CCD sensor in conjunction with the Apogon lens is good for outstanding images that can be printed out to sizes up to DIN A3. The 3x optical zoom is backed up by a 4x digital zoom so that the range of focal lengths can, if necessary, be extended to a whopping 28-336mm.

Rollei Prego da6

The Prego da6 is Rollei's latest addition to their Prego family of digital cameras. With its wealth of pixels in an equally rugged and compact body of an aluminum-magnesium alloy it will leave even highly discriminating photographers hardly anything to be desired. Apart from its resolution of six million pixels, the Prego da6 comes with a high-performance 3x D-VarioApogon zoom lens and a 5x digital zoom. Like all the Rollei models of this series, the Prego da6 will also record video clips complete with sound. The Prego da6 will be available in silver or black for 349 Euro (incl. VAT) from October 2004. Exacting photographers will find the Prego da6 to deliver almost professional quality. The high resolution of the 6.0-megapixel CCD, the high-performance lens 4-24mm f/2.8-4.8 (equivalent to 39-117mm in 35mm photography) and the wide zoom range underline the photographic competence of the camera. An optical real-image viewfinder and a large 1.8-inch TFT color monitor make for easy framing. The LC display is particularly helpful for close-ups in the Macro focus mode from 15 to 50cm. Precise auto focusing is ensured between 0.5 m and infinity by a reliable auto focus system.
