Samsung Armani camera phone review

Dennis Hissink
Photokina report
Thursday 15th, May 2008
Posted by: Dennis Hissink

Not only is the Giorgio Armani mobile phone a stylish device, it is also delivered in style. The black box has a silky feel, like the cover of the user’s guide. A leather pouch that folds out comes with the cell phone to protect it. When you shut the cover, it shuts down the cell phone. You can also choose to use the included pouch made from soft material. Naturally a battery charger, USB cable, earphone and software CDs are included in the box. An original addition is the soft cleansing cloth, marked with the Armani logo, which serves to wipe the Samsung Armani clean.

Samsung SGH-U600 review

Posted by: Ilse Jurrien Sunday 5th, August 2007

LetsGoMobile reviewed the Samsung U600 mobile phone. At the start of this year Samsung introduced a new mobile in their Ultra Edition line at the 3GSM in Barcelona. One of the phones introduced was the Samsung SGH-U600, also known as the Samsun Ultra Edition 10.9. The Samsung U600 is a mobile phone that appears at first glance to fulfil all the wishes of the average mobile phone user. Approximately 8% of the profits return to R&D so that Samsung can continually put new, innovative phones on the market. The Samsung U600 is a slider phone equipped with a 3.2 Megapixel autofocus digital camera with flash, an MP3 player and a microSD card with extendable memory and some touch sensitive keys.

DIWA awarded Pro 815 at Photokina

Posted by: Dennis Hissink Monday 2nd, October 2006

The Samsung booth drew quit a lot of attention and especially the new NV-series were quite appealing to a lot of the visitors. Of course the new 10 Megapixel Samsung GX10 made people curious and a lot of them wanted to find out what the deal is between Samsung and Pentax. Somehow it surprised me to see that Samsung did not introduce a real 100% Samsung-only DSLR. This new model seems to be the first end-result of the cooperation between Samsung and Pentax and we were promised that we may expect more to come…

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., the world's largest provider of thin-film transistor, liquid crystal display (TFT LCD) panels, begins producing seven-inch LCDs in September to take the lead in the WVGA display market for mobile devices. The seven-inch LCD is well suited for high-end multimedia products such as handsets for digital multimedia broadcasting (DMB), portable multimedia players (PMPs), portable DVD players, and portable navigation systems. Samsung plans to expand the seven-inch LCD production capacity to 10 million units by 2007. The company unveiled its seven-inch display at the International Meeting on Information Displays, held in Daegu, Korea last month.

Samsung SGH-X820 review

Posted by: Ilse Jurrien Friday 22nd, September 2006

The Samsung P300 was both innovative and successful, but now Samsung has now gone a step further and taken the lead with the Samsung SGH-X820, which at 6.9 mm is the slimmest phone in the world. I wouldn't be surprised if other manufacturers go down this path and manage to spur Samsung on to even greater achievements. You cannot believe how thin the Samsung X820 is until you have held it. Next to the slim design, Samsung has managed to boost the X820 with a 2 Megapixel digital camera, with a maximum photo resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels. I tried the Samsung SGH-X820 out for a while and will discuss its functions and characteristics in the following mobile phone review.
