Photokina report
The Samsung Galaxy Tab is based on another cell phone with sales success, the Samsung Galaxy S Smartphone. If you look at it simply, the Samsung Galaxy Tab is an enlarged version of the Samsung Galaxy S. At 7 inches, the screen’s format is 3 inches bigger than that of the Samsung Galaxy S, and the amount of pixels has been reduced by 2 million, which results in a 3 Megapixel digital camera. The Samsung Galaxy Tab is run by a Power VR SGX540 and a 1 GHz Hummingbird processor and is equipped with a 16GB or 32GB internal memory. This can also be extended with a micro SDHC memory card, to achieve a total storage capacity of 48/64GB. The Samsung Galaxy Tab runs on Android 2.2 Froyo.
Samsung NX100 review

Samsung NX100 digital camera review - The new Samsung NX100 is a new comer in the popular segment of system cameras. This is a collective term for a group of cameras from different manufacturers but with a common denominator: the lack of a mirror. It is a so-called ‘mirror-less’ system, or as Samsung prefers, a compact system camera. The Samsung NX100 is a remarkably designed camera with relatively small dimensions and an average low weight. Although the true innovation is not found inside the camera, but rather in the lens. Samsung introduces the i-Fn lens with the Samsung NX100. The Samsung NX100 is available in different colors (varies per region). The body’s material feels a bit slippery, but due to the design it is fairly stable to handle.
Samsung Wave review

The Samsung Wave is presented in a hard packaging with a picture of the phone itself on it. As soon as you open the packaging, you see the Samsung Wave S5800. The phone looks neat at first glance. The front is sleek with a set of three keys on the bottom, of which two (to dial and to hang up) have been neatly integrated into the design. The back is completely sleek with a blue/grey tint. Besides the Samsung Wave, the packaging also includes a charger, a data cable, a head set, an instructions manual and a software CD. It is a good first impression of a Smartphone that is comfortable to handle and has a convenient format.

The Samsung TL500 camera is designed for the serious digital photographer. A advanced digital photographer looking for an easy-to-carry digital compact camera. The technical specifications of the Samsung TL500 digital camera are really interesting. Not only the 24mm F1.8 Schneider Kreuznach ultra-wide zoom lens is making a difference, the 3-inch AMOLED display with swiveling function are also details that will make a photographer curious. Direct competition is to be expected from the Canon PowerShot G12, Panasonic Lumix LX5 and the Nikon Coolpix P7000. The high-quality 1/1.7-inch format image sensor with a resolution of 10 Megapixels is also a typical feature of an advanced digital camera.

Review Photokina 2010 - The Samsung NX100 is 14.6 Megapixel compact system camera with APS-C size sensor for quality pictures and a 3-inch AMOLED display for easy viewing. An entry-level camera system, but the Samsung NX100 camera is packed with very interesting new features. It is equipped with the world’s first i-Function lens, a new and innovative new method of camera control. The design of the Samsung NX100 camera is just stunning for a system camera, which comes in four different colors; black, white, brown, and silver. The lightweight, compact and modern design makes the new Samsung camera extremely portable, and with the quality of a DSLR, the Samsung NX100 combines into a strong combination.

Review Photokina 2010 - The system camera product group is steadily advancing. They were a bit slow to get going, but with the arrival of new manufacturers such as Samsung, the speed is increasing. According to Samsung, the system camera will conquer 4% of market share in 2010, but it is expected to increase five times in 2011 to 20% of market shares in the DSLR and system camera segment. It is clear that this will be at the cost of part of the digital SLR camera market. The new Samsung NX100 is expected to be part of that increase. The Samsung NX100 is a 14.6 Megapixel system camera with an APS-C format sensor and a friendly price tag. That makes for a remarkable combination.
