It is only, however, when you slide the Samsung E900 open and the keys light up like magic, that you really get the feeling that the Samsung SGH-E900 is an innovation. The keys that light up are the function keys and the keys to take or end a call. This last key can also be used to delete a character when you are writing a text or MMS message. You can also use this key to end a function that you were using. The telephone reacts immediately if you just touch the keys lightly. The functions on the function keys vary per menu. Samsung Electronics, the world’s largest provider of thin-film transistor, liquid crystal display (TFT-LCD) panels, has developed the first 70-inch LCD panel for use in the consumer TV market. Currently, the largest LCD TV screen size is 65 inches in diameter. The company will unveil its 70-inch LCD HDTV at the International Meeting on Information Displays (IMID) 2006, which will open in Daegu, Korea. Vice President Kim Sang-Soo of Samsung said, “Our new 70-inch LCD is not only significantly larger, but also sets a new benchmark of excellence in terms of video image reproduction, viewing angle and image quality. We’ve designed it to enhance the large screen TV user’s viewing experience.”
