Software become more and more intelligent and needed in the digital imaging workflow. Software becomes also powerful, and especially the application software for cell phones and the new iPad is a good example of what benefit software can have on today’s electronic devices and the life of a consumer. Social network platforms also benefit of support Apps that can be downloaded directly to your smartphone. More specialized software for various OS systems, such as editing software like Aperture, Photoshop and Lightroom, give both the consumer and (semi-) professional photographer / videographer a perfect tool to create their favorite image of video clip. The intelligent software inside the camera or camcorder gives the consumer access to effects or a quality that could never be reached before without having semi-pro editing skills. Software plays an important role in today’s and future imaging world and Photokina 2010 will show you why!
