To proof the audience their new Mju camera is able to discover the underwater world, Olympus set-up a water basin where visitors could actually test the waterproof capabilities of the new Olympus Mju 725 SW digital compact camera. With its own unique characteristic the Olympus 725SW lets you being part of the free water world, or at least around the water. Beside being waterproof the Olympus Mju 725SW is also shockproof up to 1.5 m. The Olympus Mju 725 SW digital camera was introduced late August and is now showcased at the Photokina 2006 where visitors are able to touch & try.

Olympus 725SW : The Olympus Mju 725SW features a 7.1 million pixel CCD ensuring rich detailed pictures. Furthermore the Olympujs 725SW offers a precision 3x optical zoom lens (equiv. to 38-114mm on a 35mm camera) and a 6.4cm LCD screen which, thanks to BrightCapture Technology, comes into its own in low-light conditions. It is interesting to see how many visitors actually want to try and push that little camera deep under water.
