Photokina report
The Samsung Galaxy Tab is based on another cell phone with sales success, the Samsung Galaxy S Smartphone. If you look at it simply, the Samsung Galaxy Tab is an enlarged version of the Samsung Galaxy S. At 7 inches, the screen’s format is 3 inches bigger than that of the Samsung Galaxy S, and the amount of pixels has been reduced by 2 million, which results in a 3 Megapixel digital camera. The Samsung Galaxy Tab is run by a Power VR SGX540 and a 1 GHz Hummingbird processor and is equipped with a 16GB or 32GB internal memory. This can also be extended with a micro SDHC memory card, to achieve a total storage capacity of 48/64GB. The Samsung Galaxy Tab runs on Android 2.2 Froyo.
